Worldview Global Impact, a non-profit organization founded in 2017 and registered in New York, has taken a significant step in its mission to promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and nurture new visions of sustainability and positive social impact. The organization has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), establishing a formal framework for delivering Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) executive education programs in Hong Kong.

The partnership marks the first completed cohort of the Global Impact Leadership certificate program, which was delivered to 24 students from HKUST's Public Policy (PPOL) program this October. The Global Impact Leadership program, developed and certified through Columbia University SIPA, focuses on two core tracks: Global Impact Leadership Skills and Crisis Leadership and Risk Management Skills. The former draws on leadership theory, organizational authority, and real-world case studies from prominent leaders such as Peter Drucker and Michael Bloomberg, while the latter addresses decision-making under pressure, data-driven risk assessment, natural disaster response, and the growing role of AI governance in leadership practice.

This collaboration between Worldview Global Impact and HKUST is part of WGI's broader strategy to expand its reach in the Asia-Pacific region. Hong Kong's position as a global financial and policy hub makes it a strategic location for WGI's expansion efforts. The MOU lays the groundwork for continued program delivery, with additional cohorts planned. Further institutional collaborations are currently under exploration across the region and globally.

The Global Impact Leadership program is designed for professionals from government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. It supports organizations seeking to strengthen leadership capacity in times of uncertainty and can be customized to align with the specific priorities, challenges, and context of an organization. The program is devised and delivered by the Columbia University Picker Center for Executive Education and Worldview Global Impact.

Worldview Global Impact's commitment to promoting the SDGs and fostering positive social impact through education and training is evident in its ongoing efforts to expand its reach and influence. The partnership with HKUST and the successful delivery of the first cohort of the Global Impact Leadership program are significant milestones in this journey.
