Michael Neal, from Dayton, Tennessee, rounded out the top five in fifth place with a catch of 10 pounds and 10 ounces, and was awarded $100,000.

The tournament was divided into two teams, "Team Stripes" and "Team Stars." "Team Stars" emerged victorious, winning the "The Champions Cup" and the bragging rights. This team had ten anglers qualifying for the Championship Saturday showdown, compared to five from "Team Stripes."

The event kicked off with Opening Ceremonies on Wednesday evening, featuring WBE's ambassador and NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss, legendary angler Bill Dance, and two-time Bassmaster Angler of the Year Gerald Swindle. On Friday night, country music star Riley Green headlined "WBE Concert 250" at The Pinnacle in Nashville, with fellow outdoorsman Randy Houser opening the show.

"The Champions" tournament not only showcased the best anglers in the world but also provided a platform for networking, entertainment, and celebration. The event brought together anglers from the United States, Canada, and Japan, creating a unique and competitive atmosphere.
