Woodland Direct Opens New Distribution Center in Reno, Nevada

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Sept. 4, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Woodland Direct, a leading e-commerce site for fire products, has unveiled a new 47,000-square-foot distribution center in Reno, Nevada. The addition of this facility, which will officially open in September, marks the company's second distribution center, following its headquarters and main distribution center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
"This expansion is part of our ongoing effort to enhance our customer experience and logistics efficiency," said Andrew Ingram, President and Founder of Woodland Direct. "By adding a distribution center in Reno, we aim to expedite deliveries to our West Coast customers."
The decision to establish a second distribution center was made in the fourth quarter of 2025, after Woodland Direct collaborated with logistics consultants to evaluate the feasibility of expanding operations west of the Rocky Mountains. The strategic location of Reno made it an ideal choice for this expansion.

The new distribution center is being constructed with the help of local companies, including Engineered Solutions, Teledata Technologies, and WTR Electrical. Bennethum and Warehouse Assistant Wesley Davey will relocate from Auburn Hills to Reno to oversee day-to-day operations.
To maximize efficiency, the Reno facility will implement industry-standard software, NetSuite. According to Bennethum, this move will improve inventory accuracy and provide the sales team with better visibility into product availability.
"We are excited about this new milestone, which will significantly benefit our operations and customer service," Bennethum added.
