The company spent €1.4 million on these shares, with an average share price of €67.22.
This transaction is part of a broader share buyback program that Wolters Kluwer announced on February 25, 2026. The program aims to repurchase shares for up to €500 million during the year 2026. As of the latest update, the company has engaged a third party to execute €256 million of buybacks on its behalf, within the limits of relevant laws and regulations, including Regulation (EU) 596/2014 and the company’s Articles of Association.
The repurchased shares will be added to and held as treasury shares, to be used for capital reduction purposes through share cancelation.
