Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, a leading national securities law firm, has issued a reminder to Wix.com Ltd. (NASDAQ: WIX) shareholders regarding a pending securities class action lawsuit. The deadline for investors to seek the role of lead plaintiff is September 22, 2026.

The complaint filed against Wix alleges that the company and its executives violated federal securities laws by making false and misleading statements. Specifically, the complaint claims that Wix had overstated the competitiveness and performance of its AI product offerings relative to those of its competitors. Additionally, the lawsuit alleges that Wix had understated the costs associated with developing and promoting its AI products. As a result, the company's public statements were deemed to be materially false and misleading.

According to the lawsuit, the truth began to emerge on May 21, 2025, when Wix issued a press release reporting its financial results for the first quarter (Q1) of 2025. Although the company reported a 12% year-over-year increase in bookings, it maintained its 2025 revenue guidance in the range of $1.97 billion to $2 billion, falling short of analyst expectations. This conservative guidance fueled investor and analyst concerns regarding Wix's business and financial prospects and competition.

On November 19, 2025, Wix reported its financial results for the third quarter of 2025. The company revealed that its rising post-acquisition costs to support Base44 were having a material negative impact on its financial results and mitigating the positive impacts of AI-related tailwinds. The costs were primarily attributed to AI compute and marketing expenses.

On May 13, 2026, Wix reported its Q1 2026 results, which included earnings and revenue below consensus expectations, and a sharp decline in operating margins that Wix largely attributed to softness in its professional developer business. During an earnings call held on the same day, executives acknowledged that Wix's professional developer customers were using competing AI tools, the company's new Wix Harmony platform had "holes" and "missing capabilities," and there had been delays in delivering product updates and innovation to professional developer customers. These revelations led to a significant drop in Wix's stock price, which fell $20.56 per share, or 27.1%, to close at $55.32 per share.

Faruqi & Faruqi, LLP, a firm with offices in New York, Pennsylvania, California, and Georgia, is conducting the investigation and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors since its founding in 1995. The firm encourages any investor who purchased or acquired securities in Wix between February 19, 2025, and May 12, 2026, and suffered losses to contact partner Josh Wilson directly at 877-247-4292 or 212-983-9330 (Ext. 1310) to discuss their legal rights and potential claims.

According to the complaint, the class action lawsuit alleges that Wix's AI product offerings were misrepresented, and the company's financial guidance was overly optimistic, leading to misleading statements to the public. Investors are urged to act quickly to secure their position in the lawsuit by September 22, 2026.
