Wingsure, a deep-tech agricultural intelligence company, announced on September 28, 2026, the launch of Wingsure COFFEATM, a platform designed to capture and verify farm-level evidence and transform it into decision-grade intelligence for the global coffee sector. The platform aims to address the challenges faced by the industry, including climate risk, productivity, and sustainability requirements.

Coffee connects millions of smallholder farms across diverse growing regions with a global market that is increasingly concerned about traceability, deforestation safeguards, and better-informed investment decisions. Companies need credible farm-level intelligence to support these efforts, but today, the same farm may be assessed separately for sustainability, sourcing, production, certification, finance, and risk. This fragmented approach can create repeated work for growers and leave enterprises with a fragmented and often static view of farm conditions.

Wingsure COFFEATM takes a different approach. It captures evidence at the farm, verifies it at the source, builds the farm record over time, and makes that intelligence reusable across multiple programs and business decisions.

The platform uses smartphones, augmented reality, multilingual voice capabilities, agronomic knowledge, computer vision, geospatial analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to combine field observations, geotag them, timestamp them, and convert them into machine-readable records. These records can be enriched with satellite and drone context, making the farm record more valuable with every season.

For growers, the platform ensures that their knowledge, observations, and actions do not disappear into disconnected surveys and programs. A farm record can become progressively more useful, helping growers demonstrate practices and progress, receive more relevant advisory support, and connect verified information with economic opportunities such as incentives, insurance, and credit.

The launch of Wingsure COFFEATM coincides with the company's participation in two major global coffee gatherings in Switzerland. The Global Coffee Platform's 10th Anniversary Celebration will take place in Geneva on September 30, while the Swiss Coffee Trade Association's 17th Forum & Dinner will be held in Montreux on October 1-2. These events bring industry leaders together to discuss the future of coffee and the role of technology in enhancing farm intelligence.

Álvaro Gaitán, Technical Manager of the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC), highlighted the importance of trusted farm-level intelligence in supporting growers and strengthening the agricultural system.

Madhukar Sinha, President - Govt & Rural Business, Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd., also expressed his interest in the platform.

Wingsure's technology is built on a foundation of computer vision and augmented reality, developed in collaboration with SRI. The platform is designed to support existing enterprise sustainability, sourcing, traceability, carbon, finance, and risk systems by giving them a stronger, evidence-grounded understanding of the farm. Over time, each observation, intervention, and season compounds the intelligence around the farm, creating a persistent foundation from which new questions can be answered without rebuilding the evidence base each time.

The launch of Wingsure COFFEATM marks a significant step in the evolution of farm intelligence for the global coffee sector. By providing a unified platform for capturing, verifying, and analyzing farm-level information, the company aims to address the complex challenges faced by growers and enterprises alike.
