White Glove Moving & Storage, a 30-year-old family-run business based in Bayonne, New Jersey, is giving one lucky resident the chance to move for free as part of its latest community initiative.
The company, known for its extensive services in residential and commercial moves, is offering up to $5,000 in moving costs to one New Jersey or New York resident. Entrants simply need to request a free moving estimate between August 25 and October 1, 2026, on the company’s website, whiteglovemoving.us. The winner will be randomly selected on or around October 10, 2026.
"We've been serving the community for 30 years, and this is our way of saying thank you," said Julie Cabrera, General Manager of White Glove Moving & Storage. "Moving day can be incredibly stressful, and we want to make it a little easier for one family."
According to Cabrera, the giveaway aims to recognize the neighborhoods that have supported the company over the years. "These communities built our company, and picking up the bill for one neighbor's move felt like the right way to show our appreciation," she added.
The offer is open to New Jersey and New York residents who are 18 years or older and planning a genuine move within the company's service area. Participants do not need to book, make a deposit, or provide marketing consent. A purchase does not improve the odds of winning, and only one entry per household is allowed during the entry period.
"We didn't want to complicate the process with hoops to jump through," said Cabrera. "So, we made the estimate itself the entry. No strings attached, just a simple way to see what your move would cost and potentially win big."
