WASHINGTON, Oct. 13, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- When We All Vote, a nonpartisan initiative founded by Michelle Obama, has announced its largest-ever Party at the Polls program, aiming to engage more than 30 million voters across the country. This initiative, which includes over 500 events, is designed to boost voter turnout and support those facing barriers to voting, especially in key battleground states.
The program, now in its tenth year, will feature more than 80,000 elections taking place this November. To ensure voters can access the polls and have their votes counted, the initiative will include direct outreach methods such as mail, SMS, live calls, emails, and digital ads. Additionally, the program will be concentrated in 21 states identified by the Voting Rights Lab's Election Risk Heat Map, including Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and Virginia.
One of the flagship events will take place on October 22 in Greensboro, North Carolina, at North Carolina A&T University, featuring actress Marsai Martin. Another event will be held on October 24 in Detroit, Michigan, in collaboration with the Detroit Pistons and comedian Loni Love. Other events will be hosted in Phoenix, Arizona, with Poder Latinx Collective Fund; and in Jackson and Hattiesburg, Mississippi, with Mississippi MOVE and Hoopbus.
When We All Vote is partnering with over 400 community organizations, small businesses, faith-based groups, and national nonprofits to host events across the country. These partners include the NAACP, National Urban League, ACLU, Asian and Pacific Islander American Vote, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Latino Media Network, Black Chamber of Arizona, and others. The initiative is also collaborating with the ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge, which will host parties on 180 college campuses.
To support these events, When We All Vote is working with brands like Clare V., which will host events in Washington, DC, Chicago, New York City, and Los Angeles on October 24, and donate 15% of proceeds during these events to When We All Vote. Additionally, Tony's Chocolonely will provide chocolate bars to select parties across the country.
The initiative, which is part of Civic Nation, a 501(c)(3) organization, aims to increase participation in every election, close the race and age voting gap, and change the culture around voting. When We All Vote is dedicated to ensuring that young people, especially Black and Brown voters ages 18-34, not only participate in democracy but also shape it.
