VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. has announced impressive drill results from its 100% owned Madsen Mine, located in the Red Lake Mining District of Northwestern Ontario, Canada. The company's exploration efforts have revealed strong gold grades and continuity within the 904 and 955 complexes, bolstering confidence in the geological model and potential for these areas to be integrated into the Madsen mine plan in 2027.

The mineralized panels within the 904 and 955 complexes are holding together well, with grades and continuity demonstrated across multiple areas. These results are particularly significant as they indicate the potential for larger stopes and increased efficiency during design and extraction, given the proximity to existing underground infrastructure.

The drill results from the 13 and 14 Levels of the Madsen Mine, at approximately 650 meters and 700 meters depth, respectively, have been particularly noteworthy. Specifically, Hole MM26D-14-4929-025 intersected 5.3 meters @ 176.04 g/t Au, including 1 meter @ 925.52 g/t Au. This intercept was complemented by a large clot of visible gold associated with biotite alteration within a quartz-porphyry dike.

Additionally, Hole MM26D-13-4727-013 intersected 4.5 meters @ 128.32 g/t Au, including 1 meter @ 566.81 g/t Au. This result was further enhanced by visible gold associated with pyrrhotite, biotite alteration, and quartz-carbonate veining.

Other significant intercepts include Hole MM26D-12-4990-019, which intersected 6.85 meters @ 35.72 g/t Au, including 1 meter @ 233.76 g/t Au. This result was also complemented by stringers of visible gold running along foliation.

The company has also reported results from the Austin 955 Complex, drilled from the 12 Level of the Madsen Mine at approximately 600 meters depth. These results include 6.85 meters @ 35.72 g/t Au, including 1 meter @ 233.76 g/t Au.

These findings are part of an ongoing underground definition drill program at Madsen, which has been focused on further defining near-term mining inventory and growth of the current mineral resource. The company's exploration efforts continue to highlight the potential for the Madsen Mine to become a central hub of a growing multi-asset platform in the Red Lake district.

The current underground drilling program is expected to continue to focus on the more continuous and higher-grade portions of the Austin and South Austin Zones, as these areas are seen as key to the mine's future development.
