MINNEAPOLIS and BOSTON, Sept. 30, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Wealth Enhancement, a national independent wealth management firm, has expanded its capabilities for ultra-high-net-worth clients through a strategic acquisition of RWA Wealth Partners, one of the largest woman-led registered investment advisers in the nation. The deal, expected to close in the fourth quarter, will significantly bolster Wealth Enhancement’s family office and ultra-high-net-worth client services.
Founded in 1997, Wealth Enhancement has delivered specialized knowledge, attentive service, and integrated planning through a team-based approach that combines strong local relationships with nationwide resources. The firm offers estate planning, integrated tax services, investment management, insurance consultancy, retirement income planning, and business consulting services. As of August 31, 2026, Wealth Enhancement and its registered investment advisor, WEAS, had $164.6 billion in client assets, including $5.5 billion in brokerage assets.
RWA Wealth Partners, formed in 2023 through the combination of Adviser Investments and Ropes Wealth Advisors, has a rich history of helping individuals and families create and sustain wealth across generations. RWA's family office capabilities include trust administration, professional trustee services, estate planning coordination, and estate settlement. These are supported by personal and fiduciary tax planning and preparation, estate and gift tax analysis, tax projections, planning around liquidity events, and other major decisions. RWA Wealth Partners had approximately $22.46 billion in client assets as of June 30, 2026.
The acquisition will bring together the strengths of both firms, creating a comprehensive wealth management offering for ultra-high-net-worth clients.
RWA Family Office will add depth to Wealth Enhancement's Reserve, a dedicated offering for families whose wealth has outgrown a traditional advisory model, generally those with $25 million or more in investable assets and complex, interdependent needs spanning investments, tax, estate planning, trusts, and business ownership or succession. Reserve brings together a carefully matched senior advisory team and dedicated specialists to connect decisions, coordinate internal and outside professionals, and develop highly bespoke plans based on each client's unique situation.
Upon closing, RWA Family Office will continue to be led by Michelle Knight, JP Powers, Nicole LaChapelle, and Kristin Fazio, preserving continuity for clients and the professionals who serve them. RWA's Private Wealth business will operate as advisor teams at Wealth Enhancement, with Steve Reder continuing to work directly with those teams. RWA Private Wealth serves high-net-worth individuals and families through personalized investment management and comprehensive financial planning, including integrated tax and estate planning.
With the addition of RWA Wealth Partners, Wealth Enhancement will have more than $187.1 billion in client advisory, trust, and brokerage assets, including $8.5 billion in assets with Advisory Solutions Group, LLC, a registered investment advisor. The combined firm will leverage the strengths of both organizations to provide ultra-high-net-worth clients with a more integrated and comprehensive approach to wealth management.
