Waraba Gold Limited, a gold exploration company focused on West Africa, has appointed Adam Cegielski to its board of directors. The company announced the appointment on September 21, 2026, highlighting Cegielski’s extensive experience in the capital markets and mining sectors.

Cegielski, currently the Chairman of Silver Viper Minerals Corp. and Orex Minerals Inc., brings a wealth of expertise to Waraba Gold. His career has seen him raise hundreds of millions of dollars in growth capital for public and private companies and lead significant transactions in the mining sector. Notably, Cegielski was a founding director of Cayden Resources Inc., which was acquired by Agnico Eagle Mines Limited in a transaction valued at approximately C$205 million.

In 2020, Cegielski founded Gold Line Resources Ltd., a district-scale exploration company focused on northern Sweden. He also played a pivotal role in the strategic combination involving First Nordic Metals and the Mawson Finland assets, which resulted in the creation of Goldsky Resources Corp. (TSXV: GSKR).

Waraba Gold’s strategy is centered on advancing high-potential projects in West Africa, combining in-country geological leadership with international capital markets and exploration experience. The company intends to apply disciplined technical methods to identify, test, and advance exploration targets while managing risk and allocating capital efficiently.

In connection with his appointment, Cegielski will receive an annual retainer of C$50,000, payable in deferred share units under the company’s omnibus incentive plan and credited quarterly in arrears. The number of deferred share units credited in respect of each quarterly installment will be determined in accordance with the director services agreement and subject to the omnibus incentive plan, applicable securities laws, and Canadian Securities Exchange requirements.

Waraba Gold trades on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol "WBGD," on the OTC Pink Markets under the symbol "WARAF," and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange under the trading symbol "ZE00."
