Walhalla Gold Corp., a company focused on the exploration and development of precious and critical minerals in Victoria, has appointed Owen Greenberger as Vice-President of Exploration. This move is part of the company's strategy to advance its district-scale exploration efforts across its extensive portfolio.

Greenberger brings a wealth of experience to the role, having spent nearly two decades in the Australian exploration sector. His tenure includes a significant period at the Fosterville Gold Mine in Victoria, where he was part of the geological team responsible for the discovery and advancement of the Lower Phoenix orogenic gold system, including the Swan and Eagle orebodies. Prior to this, Greenberger held senior exploration roles at the Morning Star mine and with Kirkland Lake Gold, where he managed exploration programs across more than 1,600 square kilometers and oversaw an expenditure of over $30 million.

Greenberger's responsibilities will extend beyond exploration. He will also manage joint venture relationships, staffing, financial management, and Indigenous land access agreements. His experience in these areas is seen as crucial for Walhalla Gold's ongoing exploration efforts in Victoria.

The company's exploration portfolio includes the Walhalla Gold Project, a district-scale project covering 1,230 square kilometers. The project includes areas with past historic production, such as Cohen's Reef, and greenfield targets like Pinnacles, where extensive soil geochemistry has highlighted a 400m x 1,100m gold mineralized aplitic dyke. The Pinnacles target is fully permitted, accessible, and ready for immediate drilling.

Jukes further emphasized the company's commitment to systematically evaluating the broader opportunity within its portfolio.

The company has been consolidating and reviewing the extensive historical geological and exploration information associated with its portfolio and developing a disciplined framework to evaluate and prioritize opportunities across the broader land position. Since becoming an independent company, Walhalla has been working to build the technical and corporate capabilities required to systematically evaluate and advance its district-scale Victorian portfolio and its precious and critical mineral potential.

The Walhalla Gold Project is located in the state of Victoria and consists of 1,230 square kilometers of concessions. Cohen's Reef is one of the largest and most productive gold-bearing quartz reefs ever discovered in Victoria, and the company's early exploration will target the identification of potential repeat structures nearby old developments. In addition to multiple areas with past historic production such as Cohen's Reef, the Walhalla Gold Project contains high-priority greenfield targets such as Pinnacles, where extensive soil geochemistry has highlighted a 400m x 1,100m gold mineralized aplitic dyke which contains disseminated sulphides and outcrops at surface. The Pinnacles target is fully permitted, accessible, and ready for immediate drilling.

With Greenberger's appointment, Walhalla Gold aims to strengthen its technical leadership and advance its exploration strategy in Victoria. The company is optimistic about the potential for significant discoveries and the development of its district-scale project.
