Vulcan Infrastructure and Power Inc., a power and infrastructure platform focused on supporting artificial intelligence and high-performance computing data centers, has appointed three new independent directors to its board of directors. The appointments, which took effect with the closing of the company's recent strategic investment, bring significant expertise in commercial real estate, digital infrastructure, and capital markets.
The company announced the appointments of Robert "Bob" Foley, Allan B. Rothschild, and Jacky Wu in a press release on September 11, 2026. These new directors will contribute their extensive experience to help Vulcan advance its existing powered sites and evaluate new opportunities, aligning with the company's strategy to build a differentiated power and infrastructure platform.
Robert "Bob" Foley, with nearly four decades of executive leadership experience, has joined Vulcan's board. Foley has served as a senior advisor to TPG Real Estate since January 2026, where he has been involved in investment review committees. His previous roles include chief financial officer of TPG RE Finance Trust and managing director at TPG Real Estate. Earlier in his career, Foley co-founded Gramercy Capital, a publicly traded REIT, and held senior commercial real estate investment and capital markets roles at Goldman Sachs and Bankers Trust.
Allan B. Rothschild brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in commercial real estate, transactions, and legal affairs. He served as general counsel and vice president of Allerand Capital from 2022 to 2025. Rothschild also held several senior positions with Gramercy Property Trust and its predecessor, Gramercy Capital, including chief transaction officer and general counsel. His earlier roles include executive positions with Prism Venture Partners, GFI Management, CB Richard Ellis, Presidio Capital, and Newkirk/Odin Management Company.
Jacky Wu, with over 20 years of leadership experience in finance, operations, corporate development, telecommunications, and digital infrastructure, has also joined the board. Wu served as president of Brightspeed Inc. from May 2025 to June 2026 and as a senior advisor to Apollo Global Management and Wafra. From 2020 to 2024, he was executive vice president and chief financial officer of DigitalBridge Group, a global digital infrastructure investment manager. Wu's earlier roles include senior finance and M&A positions at American Tower and Verizon, as well as chief financial officer roles at Driven Brands and Xura. He has also served on the boards of several digital and communications infrastructure businesses.
The strategic investment, completed on September 10, 2026, was made by affiliates of Machine Investment Group and Atlas Holdings, along with institutional investors including Conversant Capital and certain Company insiders. The $39.4 million investment underscores Vulcan's commitment to expanding its infrastructure platform to meet the growing demand for AI and high-performance computing data centers.
Jordan Kovler, Chief Executive Officer of Vulcan Infrastructure and Power, expressed his excitement about the new appointments.
With these new directors on board, Vulcan Infrastructure and Power is poised to strengthen its position in the rapidly growing AI and high-performance computing data center market. The company's focus on acquiring, developing, and operating energized sites that support these critical technologies positions it well for future growth and success.
