Vortex Engages Lonquist for Ground Gravity Survey at Robinsons River Salt Project

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept. 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Vortex Energy Corp., an exploration stage company based in Newfoundland and Labrador, has announced the engagement of Lonquist Field Service (Canada), ULC, to manage a targeted ground gravity survey at its 100%-owned Robinsons River Salt Project. The project, located approximately 35 kilometers south of Stephenville, is part of Vortex’s ongoing efforts to advance its exploration and development of mineral properties in the region.

According to Paul Sparkes, the Chief Executive Officer of Vortex, the engagement with Lonquist is a significant step in the company’s exploration plans. "Their team’s recent technical work has helped identify where additional information would be most useful. This survey will allow us to build on that work and continue advancing our understanding of the Project."

The ground gravity survey is designed to complement the existing geological, drilling, and geophysical information gathered at the Robinsons River Salt Project. The program aims to fill gaps in the existing gravity coverage across selected priority areas, with the ultimate goal of supporting further evaluation of the subsurface interpretation and potential exploration targets.

The survey planning and data acquisition will be overseen by Lonquist, which will coordinate with third parties to ensure the efficient and effective execution of the program. The survey design, contractor arrangements, and schedule are currently being finalized. Fieldwork remains subject to the Company’s approval of the final program and confirmation of required permits and access arrangements.

The Robinsons River Salt Project is prospective for both salt and hydrogen salt cavern storage, making it a significant asset for Vortex. The project is part of a broader strategy to explore and develop mineral resources in Newfoundland and Labrador, with the company also advancing its Fire Eye Uranium Property in the Athabasca Basin.
