DRAMMEN, Norway, Oct. 8, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Visitech, a Norwegian company specializing in high-performance photohead solutions, has unveiled its latest innovation: the LLS1000, a next-generation 1-micron L/S photohead. This advanced tool is designed to empower tool makers to develop custom solutions for direct write/imaging, addressing the needs of large substrate packaging.

The LLS1000 features a unique optical architecture that allows for 1-micron CD resolution, enabling a throughput of more than 50 panels per hour for 515x510 panels and over 100 wafers per hour. It incorporates several advanced processing technologies, including real-time positional and panel warping compensation, and stitch-free exposures. These features are particularly beneficial for fan-out wafer-level packaging (FOWLP), fan-out panel-level packaging (FOPLP), and co-packaged optics (CPO), ensuring high yield, high throughput, and robust operation in production environments.

The LLS1000 is part of Visitech's growing range of photohead solutions aimed at production environments. The company has developed these solutions to address the industry's core challenge of affordable production costs and flexibility. With its ability to provide high-throughput imaging similar to a stepper, the LLS1000 offers a versatile and efficient alternative for manufacturers.

Visitech will showcase the LLS1000 and its range of photohead solutions at its booth #3116 at the Semicon West 2026 conference, which takes place from October 13th to 15th. The company, which develops and manufactures high-performance photohead solutions for maskless direct-imaging lithography in PCB production and advanced semiconductor packaging, also offers purpose-built solutions for additive manufacturing, metrology, and advanced display applications.

Headquartered in Norway, Visitech supports its global customer base through operations in the United States, China, and Japan. The company's in-house engineering and proven track record in thousands of production systems worldwide ensure seamless integration into customers' equipment platforms.
