Virtune rebalances Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP
Sztokholm, September 1, 2026 – Virtune, a Swedish asset management company, has completed the quarterly rebalancing of its Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP, marking a significant update to the product’s composition as of September 1, 2026.
The rebalancing, which took place following the quarter ending August 31, 2026, saw a notable shift in the weightings of various cryptocurrencies. Prior to the rebalancing, Bitcoin held 47.81% of the index, while Ethereum accounted for 30.44%. Post-rebalancing, these figures changed to 50.00% for Bitcoin and 28.84% for Ethereum. The adjustments reflect Virtune's ongoing commitment to align the index with the most significant and quality-driven assets in the cryptocurrency market.

The Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP, which is fully physically secured, follows the Coinbase 50 Europe Index, a leading global reference index for cryptocurrencies equivalent to the S&P 500 for the crypto market. This ETP provides exposure to up to 50 of the leading cryptocurrencies and is rebalanced quarterly to ensure it remains a relevant and representative portfolio.
In August, the Virtune Coinbase 50 Index ETP delivered a return of +26.12%, highlighting the potential of the product for investors.
