Virterion, a hosting provider based in Wyoming, United States, has outlined its virtual private server (VPS) and dedicated server options for European hosting projects, focusing on the Netherlands and Bulgaria. The company offers a range of configurations tailored to various needs, from basic VPS services to high-performance dedicated servers.

In the Netherlands, Virterion provides two main VPS configurations. The NL Start configuration, priced at $7 per month, includes one virtual CPU (vCPU), 1 GB of RAM, 10 GB of NVMe storage, and a 300 Mbit/s connection. For those requiring more resources, the NL Middle configuration is available at $15.50 per month, offering two vCPUs, 4 GB of RAM, and 20 GB of NVMe storage. Customers can adjust their configurations through the control panel, allowing for flexible upgrades based on application requirements.

The High CPU VPS range, also hosted in the Netherlands, features AMD EPYC 9005 series processors and dedicated CPU cores. The High Start configuration, listed at $13.75 per month, includes one vCPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 10 GB of NVMe storage. This range is exempt from Virterion's standard VPS CPU usage thresholds, making it suitable for sustained processing tasks such as application workers and data-processing jobs.

For projects requiring more storage capacity, Virterion offers SSD Storage VPS plans in the Netherlands. The SSD Storage L configuration provides 500 GB of SSD capacity, one vCPU, and 1 GB of RAM at $30.75 per month. Additionally, the company lists a Windows storage configuration, Win SSD L, at $32 per month, with 500 GB of SSD capacity and 2 GB of RAM. These plans are designed for customer-managed file storage and backup repositories, though they do not include the provider's virtual-machine backup functionality.

In Bulgaria, the company offers a Start configuration at $7 per month, which includes one vCPU, 1 GB of RAM, and 10 GB of SSD storage. The Windows VPS services in both the Netherlands and Bulgaria are unmanaged, with a default configuration costing $9.50 per month and including one vCPU, 2 GB of RAM, and 20 GB of storage. The Windows installation is supplied as a 180-day evaluation version, and Virterion does not sell Microsoft licenses. Customers are responsible for managing the software running inside the virtual machine.

Dedicated servers and GPU options are also available, with configurations listed at Greenhouse Datacenters in Naaldwijk, Netherlands. Customers can customize memory, storage, and network options to match their workload requirements. Dedicated servers with NVIDIA graphics hardware are also offered for applications that can use GPU acceleration. The availability, transfer allowances, and deployment timing depend on the specific order.

Virterion's VPS service pages describe administrative access, a VNC console, and support for installing an operating system from a customer-supplied ISO image. Eligible VPS plans provide tools for creating and scheduling backups. The default backup allowance is one retained copy, with an option to increase the number to five. Storage VPS plans are excluded from this backup functionality.

Technical support is available around the clock, with a scope of basic administration for Linux systems, including operating-system work and selected server services. The provider's fair-use policy applies to VPS traffic, and the advertised unlimited VPS traffic remains subject to the selected port speed and the provider's fair-use policy.
