Vidle Housing, a platform dedicated to serving the unique needs of traveling healthcare professionals, has partnered with PadSplit, the country's largest coliving marketplace, to expand affordable housing options for healthcare travelers. This collaboration aims to provide a flexible and cost-conscious housing solution for nurses, allied health professionals, and other healthcare workers who frequently relocate for their jobs.
Through the partnership, PadSplit's shared housing options will be integrated into the Vidle Housing platform. This move allows travel nurses and allied health professionals to find housing that aligns with their assignment, location, and budget. PadSplit's model involves members renting their own private, furnished bedrooms within shared homes, while sharing common spaces such as kitchens and, depending on the property, bathrooms and other living areas. This arrangement can significantly reduce housing costs compared to renting an entire apartment or home, while offering the flexibility needed when temporarily relocating for work.
Randy Holloran, CEO of Vidle Housing, commented, "Healthcare travelers have different priorities when it comes to housing, and affordability is becoming increasingly important. Some travelers want a private apartment or home, while others would gladly consider sharing a home if it allows them to significantly reduce their housing expenses. By partnering with PadSplit, we're adding another important option and giving travelers greater control over how and where they live while on assignment."
PadSplit's shared-housing model is particularly well-suited for cost-conscious travelers. In addition to the private furnished bedroom, all utilities and Wi-Fi are included in a simple weekly payment, making it easier to budget and save. PadSplit residents are screened before moving into a home, and private bedrooms feature secure locks. Atticus LeBlanc, PadSplit's founder and CEO, stated, "Travel healthcare professionals provide essential services in communities across the country, and they need housing options that provide flexibility and affordability while they're away from home. Our partnership with Vidle Housing introduces shared housing to more healthcare travelers and gives them another way to make their assignments financially rewarding while having a comfortable place to call home."
The addition of PadSplit further expands Vidle Housing's growing range of housing choices designed specifically around the needs of the healthcare traveler community. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, Vidle Housing is building a marketplace that provides travelers with multiple housing types, price points, and stay options in one place. This partnership is part of Vidle Housing's broader effort to expand housing inventory and provide healthcare travelers with more choices, from private furnished apartments and homes to hotels, extended-stay accommodations, and now affordable shared housing.
Vidle Housing is a platform built for healthcare travelers, connecting travel nurses and allied healthcare professionals with jobs, housing, information, resources, and the travel healthcare community. Through Vidle.com, the Vidle app, and Vidle Housing, Vidle is creating a more connected experience designed around the unique needs of healthcare professionals who travel for work. PadSplit, on the other hand, is the country's largest coliving marketplace, focusing on increasing housing supply and reducing barriers to access. PadSplit's technology platform enables personalized rent payments that facilitate easier budgeting and allow residents to improve their financial health.
