Victoria’s Secret & Co. reported robust financial results for the second quarter of 2026, marking a significant uptick in both sales and profitability.
The company announced that its net sales increased by 10% to $1.611 billion, nearing the upper end of its previously communicated guidance range. Total comparable sales also rose by 9%. Operating income surged to $257 million, while adjusted operating income surpassed expectations at $124 million, significantly higher than the previously guided $90 million to $100 million range.
Victoria’s Secret & Co. CEO Hillary Super attributed the strong performance to the company’s Path to Potential strategy, which has bolstered its brands, improved customer engagement, and secured market share. "Our Path to Potential strategy is showing tangible results," Super stated. "Our brands are stronger and more relevant, and we are gaining market share through strategic investments in product, brand identity, and execution."
In addition to the financial gains, the company is raising its full-year guidance for 2026. It now forecasts net sales between $7.100 billion and $7.180 billion, up from the previous range of $7.030 billion to $7.130 billion. Adjusted operating income is expected to be between $560 million and $590 million, an increase from the earlier forecast of $550 million to $580 million.
"Given our strong first-half performance and continued momentum, we are confident in our ability to achieve these ambitious targets," added Scott Sekella, Chief Financial and Operating Officer. "We are focused on delivering profitable growth and making strategic investments to drive new customer growth and sustainable long-term value."
The company also highlighted several upcoming initiatives, including the Angels Among Us docuseries, an expanded Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and holiday activations. These efforts are part of a broader strategy to deepen customer connections and build on the brand’s current momentum.
"These initiatives are designed to not only engage our existing customer base but also attract new customers," Sekella explained. "We are excited about the back half of the year and the opportunity to continue building our iconic brands."
The positive financial performance and raised guidance reflect Victoria’s Secret & Co.’s strategic focus on product innovation, brand storytelling, and customer experience. The company remains committed to empowering its workforce and expanding its global presence, with approximately 1,430 retail stores in 70 countries.
Looking ahead, the company’s leadership remains optimistic about its prospects, despite ongoing challenges such as tariff uncertainty and global economic conditions. "We are well-positioned to navigate these challenges and capitalize on the significant opportunities ahead," Super concluded.
