VICENZA, Italy, Sept. 3, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Vicenzaoro, the prestigious global jewellery trade show, is set to open its doors tomorrow, September 4, for a significant edition that marks a milestone for Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) and the jewellery industry as a whole. The event, which runs until September 8, will welcome nearly 1,300 exhibitors from 38 countries and over 130 countries in buyer representation, showcasing the entire supply chain. This edition also introduces a new exhibition hall and integrates a technology-focused section, setting the stage for a new phase in the global jewellery market.

The opening of the new Hall 2, a 23,000-square-metre, two-level structure designed by GMP, is a highlight of this year’s Vicenzaoro. The €60 million investment by IEG in the Vicenza exhibition centre aims to enhance the venue’s capacity and connectivity, solidifying Vicenzaoro’s position as a leading global trade platform. According to Matteo Farsura, Global Exhibition Manager for Jewellery & Fashion at IEG, the new hall will support the show's continued growth and evolution.

This edition also introduces T.Gold, a section dedicated to showcasing jewellery manufacturing technologies. Starting with this September edition, T.Gold will be held twice a year in Hall 4, in January and September. The integration of T.Gold is seen as a strategic move by IEG to highlight the importance of technology in driving innovation and competitiveness within the jewellery industry. Farsura emphasized, "By bringing technology to the show twice a year and connecting the entire jewellery value chain, we are strengthening Vicenzaoro’s position as a global trade and knowledge platform."

The Jewellery Boutique Show format, which has always been a hallmark of Vicenzaoro, will be further enhanced by the integration of T.Gold. This model brings together various communities in the jewellery supply chain, including technology, manufacturing, finished jewellery, gemstones, components, watches, and packaging, under one exhibition ecosystem. The new format ensures that exhibitors and buyers can access a comprehensive range of products and services in one location.

The CIBJO Centenary Congress, hosted during this edition of Vicenzaoro, further underscores the city's significance in the global jewellery market. The World Jewellery Confederation’s gathering will bring together 400 key leaders from around the world, marking the 100th anniversary of the CIBJO. This event not only highlights Vicenza’s role in the international jewellery community but also underscores the city’s commitment to fostering innovation and collaboration.

As Vicenzaoro September 2026 opens its doors, it ushers in a new era for IEG and the global jewellery industry. With its new infrastructure, twice-yearly technology showcases, and integrated value-chain approach, this edition positions Vicenzaoro as a pivotal platform for innovation, manufacturing, and international trade.
