Vi Names New Sales and Resident Experience Leaders

DES MOINES, Iowa, Oct. 9, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Vi Senior Living has appointed two key leaders to enhance its sales and resident experience strategies across its portfolio of 10 Life Plan Communities. Shelley Hamner has been named Assistant Vice President of Sales, while Shauna Shockley will serve as Assistant Vice President of Resident Experience. These appointments are part of Vi's ongoing efforts to advance its sales strategy and improve the resident experience across its communities nationwide.

Hamner brings extensive experience in senior living sales and marketing, having previously held leadership roles at Green Courte Residential, Senior Lifestyle Corporation, and Brookdale's Entry Fee Division. Her most recent position was as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Green Courte Residential in Chicago. At Vi, Hamner will support the sales strategy and efforts to connect prospective residents with the lifestyle and experiences offered across its communities. Her experience across sales, marketing, and resident engagement will help Vi continue to stand out and connect people with experiences that reflect the best of senior living.

Shockley, with nearly 15 years of senior living leadership experience, will lead Vi's resident experience strategy. Her role will encompass the full resident journey, from initial engagement to daily life, and will involve creating a connected and consistent experience for residents. Shockley will also lead the continued advancement of Vista 360 Well-Being, Vi's multidimensional wellness and lifestyle program, which launched across all 10 communities earlier this year.
