SINGAPORE, Oct. 06, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Verde AgriTech Ltd., through its subsidiary Magnes Rare Earths, has reported significant findings from surface drilling at its Minas Americas project in Brazil. The company has identified broad magnet and heavy rare earth intersections, which could have substantial implications for the development of the site.
The latest results from reverse-circulation (RC) drilling and shallow auger profiles indicate the presence of magnet-rich material from the surface. Specifically, the RC drilling hole MAV_RC_0063 returned a 30-metre interval with 1,853 parts per million (ppm) magnet rare earth oxides (MREO), including 60 ppm dysprosium, terbium oxides (DyTb), with 270 ppm heavy rare earth oxides (HREO). This result is particularly noteworthy as it suggests the potential for high-grade magnet and heavy rare earth deposits.
Another RC hole, MAV_RC_0001, returned a 53-metre interval from the surface at 1,242 ppm MREO, including a 30-metre internal interval at 1,950 ppm MREO. Additionally, a selected 5-metre interval within MAV_RC_0054 returned 3,310 ppm MREO, including 90 ppm DyTb. These findings underscore the presence of higher-grade internal intervals, which could be crucial for the project's development.
Shallow auger profiles have also provided valuable data, with MAV_AD_0691 returning 8 metres from the surface at 2,194 ppm MREO, including 2,122 ppm neodymium, praseodymium oxides (NdPr) and 72 ppm DyTb. MAV_AD_0639 returned 11 metres from the surface at 2,179 ppm MREO, including 2,108 ppm NdPr, 72 ppm DyTb, and 335 ppm HREO. These results suggest a strong presence of magnet and heavy rare earth grades in the shallow profiles.
The exploration dataset now includes 50 additional RC holes and 822 cumulative auger profiles, bringing the total combined assay compilation to 879 holes. The release’s drilling-record population totals 1,191 holes and 12,640.6 recorded metres. This extensive dataset provides a robust foundation for further exploration and process testing.
The company is currently engaged in a more comprehensive bench-scale metallurgical programme with SGS Geosol. Initial testing has covered seven geological samples from four auger holes, plus a quality-control duplicate, tracking rare earths through leach liquor, two wash stages, and residue. The next milestone will be the announcement of the bench-scale metallurgical results, which are expected following technical review.
These findings at Minas Americas are significant for the exploration of magnet and heavy rare earths, which are critical components in the production of permanent magnets used in various high-tech applications, including industrial motors, robotics, aerospace, and defence. The combination of broad, shallow intersections and evidence of selective diagnostic leaching provides a strong basis for the next stage of exploration and process testing.
