NEW YORK, Sept. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Venn, a sovereign AI platform for real estate, has made a significant move by acquiring Zuma, a leading AI solution for multifamily leasing, renewals, and collections. The acquisition, backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, and King River & Capital, brings Zuma's exceptional AI talent and deep marketing and leasing expertise into Venn's platform, enhancing its capabilities and accelerating the development of sophisticated agents across the real estate sector.
Founded in 2021, Zuma has been a key player in the multifamily market, serving operators across the United States. With the acquisition, Zuma's co-founders, Kendrick Bradley and Shiv Gettu, will join Venn's leadership team. Bradley will serve as the General Manager of Venn Leasing, while Gettu will take on the role of Chief Partnerships Officer. Zuma's engineers will integrate into Venn's core engineering team, focusing on building inside customers' businesses and across their systems, data, and workflows.
Venn's model is centered around providing software for free while charging for the proprietary intelligence layer and bespoke agents that act on it. This acquisition brings Zuma, one of the multifamily industry's leading AI solutions, into Venn's platform, which has grown fourfold since January. Venn serves more than 270 owners and operators, including Bozzuto, Related, Kairoi Residential, and Grand City Properties, and expects to manage over a million units by the end of the year.
The combined expertise of Venn and Zuma aims to revolutionize the multifamily leasing process. Leasing is one of the largest drivers of net operating income (NOI) in multifamily properties. With Venn's Company Brain, an AI leasing agent can understand the prospect alongside the property, pricing, availability, maintenance history, resident sentiment, unique amenities, operating policies, and the operator's own way of doing business. Human escalations are reduced by nearly 60%, making the process more efficient and effective.
Venn's growth is evident in its contracted revenue, which has more than quadrupled over the past year, placing it in the top quartile of companies tracked in ICONIQ's September 2026 State of Scaling report. The report, which focuses on Pacesetters, highlights Venn's rapid expansion and innovative approach to the real estate industry. The Company Brain Venn builds for each operator is unique, encoding their data, knowledge, and operating practices into a proprietary intelligence layer. This intelligence remains the customer's asset, ensuring that each operator retains control over their data and operations.
Venn has raised over $140 million, including a $52 million Series B round co-led by NOA and Group 11. The company now serves 270 owners and operators across 30 states and five countries, with a focus on expanding its platform to cover various real estate asset classes. The acquisition of Zuma is a strategic move that will further solidify Venn's position as a leader in the real estate AI market, driving innovation and efficiency in the multifamily sector.
