Vantiva, a global leader in connected home solutions, has unveiled its latest innovation, the Soundscape Mini, a compact audio set-top box designed to deliver immersive sound and advanced entertainment. The new device combines a 3.1 audio system, virtual Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, and Edge AI-powered voice control, all in a single, customizable platform.
Launched at the IBC 2026 event in Amsterdam, the Soundscape Mini is built on Vantiva's Emerald v2 platform and offers a versatile user experience. It pairs a dynamic 3.1 audio system with expandable wireless surround speakers, enhancing the overall sound quality. The device also features virtual Dolby Atmos, which creates an immersive audio environment, and Edge AI processing for voice control, making it easier for users to navigate and manage their connected devices.
According to David Robinson, Vantiva’s Director of Product Management, the Soundscape Mini addresses the growing demand for a seamless home entertainment experience. "Consumers want an at-home entertainment system that offers elevated sound and instant responsiveness without the clutter of separate streaming boxes, speakers, and smart hubs," said Robinson. "Soundscape Mini is our solution to this need, bundled up as a single device at a fraction of the size of a traditional soundbar."
Vantiva’s Chief Product and Engineering Officer, Ashwani Saigal, emphasized the importance of the device in a competitive market. "To stand out, operators need hardware that does more than just stream content. Soundscape Mini provides our partners with a fully customizable footprint in the living room, helping them deepen subscriber engagement, protect their brand presence, and deliver an elevated home entertainment tier without the friction of complex setups."
The Soundscape Mini supports high-bandwidth entertainment services, low-latency streaming, and reliable performance across increasingly crowded home networks. With far-field microphones and onboard Edge AI processing, it enables natural voice interaction, allowing users to search for content, navigate services, and manage connected devices more efficiently.
Vantiva invites consumers to experience the Soundscape Mini at their booth during IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, from September 11 to 14. The company continues to push the boundaries of connectivity, delivering high-quality solutions that elevate how people live, work, and connect globally.
