Vadzo Imaging has expanded its portfolio of high dynamic range (HDR) cameras with the release of the Falcon-2020CRS. This new camera, a 20-megapixel AR2020 color USB 3.2 Gen 1 device, introduces dynamic region of interest (ROI) functionality, designed to meet the demands of broadcast production, studio content creation, and professional photography.

The Falcon-2020CRS leverages the Onsemi HyperLux AR2020 sensor, renowned for its ability to deliver detailed 20-megapixel images alongside wide dynamic range capabilities. This feature makes it particularly suited for environments where lighting conditions can be complex and challenging. Broadcast sets, studio productions, and professional photography sessions often require cameras capable of handling multiple light sources with varying intensities, from bright key lights to dim practical lamps.

One of the key features of the Falcon-2020CRS is its dynamic ROI (Region of Interest) functionality. This allows operators to define specific areas of the frame for tighter shots, while maintaining the ability to work across the full frame for wider establishing views. The camera’s USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface ensures high-bandwidth connectivity, making it compatible with existing broadcast and studio workflows.
