V Ten Metals Completes Geochemical Survey at Tanami Property

V Ten Metals Corp. has completed the first phase of a field geochemical program at its Tanami Property in the Northern Territory of Australia. The exploration effort, which focused on soil sampling, is part of the company's ongoing efforts to identify potential rare earth element (REE) mineralization in the region.

The Tanami Property, covering an area of 1,237 square kilometers, is located in the Tanami Desert, approximately 450 kilometers northwest of Alice Springs. The property consists of four exploration licenses, each covering a portion of the vast desert landscape. The company's President and Director, Blair Way, expressed satisfaction with the progress, stating, "The soil sampling went very well, and the samples are now in transit to the labs. We look forward to receiving the geochemical results."

The initial phase of the program, conducted on Exploration License EL 23848, involved a partial leach geochemical survey. The survey targeted the margins of the Billabong Complex, with the aim of locating significant REE mineralization. The survey involved collecting 400-meter spaced ultra-fine soil samples along nine 2.5-kilometer lines, resulting in approximately 180 samples.

Way explained that the property is considered prospective for (H)REE associated with the Archean Billabong Complex, by analogy with the Northern Minerals Wolverine and satellite HREE deposits located in Western Australia. These deposits are hosted by the age-equivalent Archean Browns Range Dome Metamorphics and overlying younger Palaeoproterozoic metasediments.

The company has received partial funding for this work program from the Northern Territory Department of Mining, Geophysics, and Drilling Collaborations program, which provided a grant of $24,393 (inclusive of GST) towards the geochemical assessment on the property.
