UST Acquires Majority Stake in Italdesign to Unite Design and AI

UST, a leading AI and technology transformation solutions company, has acquired a majority stake in Italdesign, a global leader in car design and vehicle engineering. The partnership, completed on September 7, 2026, brings together nearly six decades of Italdesign’s design and engineering prowess with UST’s capabilities in AI, digital engineering, and software-defined vehicles. Together, the companies will address the growing complexity of next-generation mobility by providing comprehensive solutions that span from concept to production.
