USO Names Carla Hall as Global Ambassador

Arlington, VA, Sept. 17, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The USO, the leading nonprofit dedicated to supporting America's military service members and their families, has announced a new partnership with renowned chef Carla Hall. Hall will serve as the USO's Global Ambassador, leveraging her culinary expertise to foster connections and enhance the well-being of military personnel and their families.
Hall, known for her work on popular television shows and cookbooks, has been a long-time supporter of the USO.
Since 2014, Hall has been involved in USO tours and events, including co-hosting the 2023 USO Salute to Military Chefs event, which honored top culinary professionals in the military. She has also led cooking workshops for service members in Washington, D.C., Colorado, and abroad in Spain and Italy, as well as virtual baking lessons during USO Cookie Week. Hall's culinary background has allowed her to engage with service members and their families in meaningful ways, creating memorable experiences that strengthen their bonds.

Hall has shared her enthusiasm and culinary talent on USO tours and at events since 2014, including co-hosting the 2023 USO Salute to Military Chefs event, which honored top culinary professionals in the military. As a trained chef, Hall has worked in professional kitchens in the Washington D.C. area. She competed on Bravo’s Top Chef and Top Chef: All Stars, co-hosted ABC’s lifestyle series The Chew for seven years, and has appeared on numerous Food Network programs including Halloween Baking Championship, Holiday Baking Championship, and Best Baker in America. She is also an author of cookbooks and children’s books and is the publisher of Sweet Heritage magazine. With the philosophy of always cooking with love, Hall believes that food connects us all and hopes to convey this in her partnership with the USO through culinary activations, event participation, center visits, and more.
