MIAMI, FL, UNITED STATES, September 30, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Userlytics, a global UX research platform, has unveiled a redesigned version of its mobile tester app aimed at enhancing the user experience for participants in user research studies. The update, which is now available for both iOS and Android devices, includes several features designed to streamline the testing process and ensure a seamless experience for users.
The new app introduces a centralized invitation dashboard where participants can view available studies and upcoming live conversations. Each study card provides key details such as the reward, expected duration, and test type, allowing users to easily find and select studies that suit their devices. For those booked in for a live conversation, a prominent card reminds them of the time to join and provides direct access to the session.
To help participants prepare for their tests, the app includes a guided pre-test that checks their internet connection, camera, audio, and screen sharing capabilities. This ensures that users are ready to contribute effectively to the research. Additionally, the app features a waiting room and participation guidelines to provide clarity before live conversations begin.
During the testing process, participants receive guidance on using the floating task widget while interacting with websites or prototypes. Time and progress indicators help them stay on track, and a percentage-based upload screen ensures that recordings are fully transferred before the session ends. This feature aims to reduce any potential issues that might arise during the upload process.
Alejandro Rivas-Micoud, CEO of Userlytics, emphasized the importance of a smooth participant experience.
The redesigned rewards area brings earnings information together in a dashboard, allowing testers to see their accumulated earnings, completed usability studies, and pending transfer balances. Updated profile controls enable participants to manage their information and password directly within the app, with direct access to support when needed.
The redesign is built on Userlytics' Prometeo Design System, ensuring a consistent experience across all stages of participation. According to Jorge Baez, Chief Product and Technology Officer at Userlytics, the goal is to provide enterprises with better conditions for collecting the human feedback they depend on.
The updated Userlytics Mobile Tester Experience is now available for both iOS and Android devices, enhancing the overall user experience for participants in UX research studies.
