The U.S. Postal Service has released its latest Christmas-themed Forever stamps, featuring a festive array of cookies that celebrate the holiday tradition of baking and sharing treats. The stamps, available nationwide as of September 19, 2026, are part of a long-standing tradition that dates back to the early 20th century when baking and decorating Christmas cookies became a common practice in the United States.

These new Christmas Cookies Forever stamps are the latest in a series that includes previous iterations. In 2005, the Postal Service issued the Holiday Cookies stamps, and in 2017, the Christmas Carols stamps were released. This year's stamps come with a fun twist, designed to capture the essence of the holiday spirit through a playful and artistic lens.

Art director Greg Breeding and designer Kyrie Johnson collaborated to create the stamps, which feature four distinct cookie designs. The first stamp depicts a Christmas tree adorned with red ribbons, yellow stars, and silver ornaments, set against a blue background. The word "forever" runs vertically along the top, while "usa" is printed along the bottom right.

The second stamp features a red background with a cookie shaped like Santa Claus, complete with a thick white beard, rosy cheeks, and small black eyes, wearing his red cap. The words "forever" and "usa" are printed along the bottom of the stamp.

The third stamp, on the bottom left, shows a blue present with holly in the center of a red ribbon "tied" around the package. The words "forever" and "usa" are printed horizontally at the bottom of the stamp.

The final stamp, on the bottom right, features a red stocking with alternating vertical light blue and green stripes, topped by white trim.

The front of the booklet features three of the four cookies on a blue background, the Christmas tree, Santa's face, and the stocking. Printed below the image is "Christmas Cookies" and "Twenty First-Class Forever Stamps."

Customers can purchase the stamps and other philatelic products through The Postal Store at usps.com/shopstamps, by calling 844-737-7826, by mail through USA Philatelic, or at select Post Office locations nationwide. The stamps are designed to be used for First-Class Mail at the current 1-ounce price.
