PRINCETON, N.J., Sept. 04, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- UroGen Pharma, a biotechnology firm focused on innovative treatments for urothelial and specialty cancers, has expanded its team with inducement grants to 19 new hires. These employees will bolster the ongoing commercialization of two key products, JELMYTO® (mitomycin) for pyelocalyceal solution and ZUSDURI™ (mitomycin) for intravesical solution, while also supporting the development of UroGen’s pipeline.

The company has issued inducement restricted stock units (RSUs) to the new employees. Upon vesting, up to 117,100 ordinary shares of UroGen can be issued. The RSUs are structured to vest over three years, with one-third of the shares vesting each year, contingent on the employees’ continued service with the company.

These grants are part of UroGen’s 2019 Inducement Plan and comply with Nasdaq Listing Rule 5635(c)(4), ensuring they are an inducement for the new hires to join UroGen.

Founded in Princeton, New Jersey, and operating out of Israel, UroGen Pharma is committed to offering better treatment options for patients with urothelial and specialty cancers. The company’s proprietary technology, RTGel® reverse-thermal hydrogel, aims to improve the therapeutic profile of existing drugs by enabling longer exposure of urinary tract tissue to medications.

UroGen’s portfolio includes JELMYTO®, the first FDA-approved medication for treating low-grade upper tract urothelial cancer, and ZUSDURI™, the only FDA-approved medication for adults with recurrent low-grade intermediate-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. Both products are designed to ablate tumors non-surgically, providing a more accessible and less invasive treatment option for patients.

The new hires will play a crucial role in advancing UroGen’s mission, contributing to the continued success of its commercial endeavors and the development of innovative therapies.
