WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., October 14, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Uranium American Resources Inc. has entered into a significant agreement with DISA Uranium Corporation to treat abandoned mine waste at the Stateline Project, a cluster of more than 19 historic high-grade vanadium and uranium mines located across Montrose County, Colorado, and San Juan County, Utah.
Under the Waste Treatment and Use Agreement, DISA Uranium will employ its patented and proprietary high-pressure slurry ablation (HPSA™) technology to remediate the abandoned mine waste. This process will not only address environmental concerns but also recover valuable uranium and other minerals from the fine-particle concentrate stream. DISA Uranium will take ownership of the concentrates it separates, while Uranium American Resources will receive a revenue share on the sales of the recovered minerals.
The Stateline Project, initially focused by Uranium American Resources, is a key part of the company's return to production. The agreement is structured to allow treatment of the abandoned mine waste to proceed alongside the company's ongoing development plans. DISA Uranium's HPSA™ technology is designed to make conventional uranium production cleaner, more efficient, and more economic, while also remediating legacy sites left across the western United States.
The agreement is part of DISA Uranium's broader mission to redefine American uranium recovery and production. The company holds the only U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) license to treat and recover abandoned uranium mine (AUM) waste across multiple sites. With a growing conventional resource base, DISA Uranium is building the domestic capacity to turn American waste and American ore into American fuel.
Uranium American Resources Inc. is advancing uranium and vanadium projects in west central USA, including the Stateline, Sky, and Marysvale projects. The company is focused on returning to production and addressing environmental concerns through innovative technologies and partnerships.
The agreement is structured to benefit all parties involved, ensuring that the legacy waste is properly treated, valuable resources are recovered, and the Stateline Project can continue to move forward. Both companies are optimistic about the potential for significant benefits from this collaboration.
