ROCKVILLE, Md., Oct. 08, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- NovaBridge Biosciences, a global biotechnology company, is set to present updated safety and efficacy data for its Claudin 18.2 (CLDN18.2) x 4-1BB bispecific antibody, givastomig, at the European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) Congress 2026. The congress, scheduled to take place from October 23 to 27, 2026, in Madrid, Spain, will feature the presentation of these findings.
The data, to be presented on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Central European Time (CET), will be delivered by Samuel J. Klempner, an Associate Professor of Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital. The presentation will focus on the combination of givastomig with nivolumab and chemotherapy (mFOLFOX6) in participants with previously untreated, HER2-negative, CLDN18.2-positive, and PD-L1-positive locally advanced, unresectable, or metastatic gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma (GEA).
Givastomig, also known as TJ033721 / ABL111, is designed to amplify T-cell activity where CLDN18.2 is expressed. The presentation will provide a more mature view of the safety, efficacy, and durability observed in the Phase 1b combination study.
The data from the Phase 1b study, which followed positive topline results, will be shared at the congress. This study is part of a larger portfolio of therapeutic programs in oncology and ophthalmology, with givastomig being the lead candidate. NovaBridge is also developing VIS-101, a tetravalent VEGF-A × ANG-2 peptibody, for the potential treatment of neovascular retinal diseases.
NovaBridge Biosciences has a history of innovation and strategic development in the biotechnology sector. The company has received Fast Track Designation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for givastomig, which is being evaluated in a global, randomized Phase 2 study (NCT07432295). The company's annual report on Form 20-F, filed with the SEC and amended on June 16, 2026, provides further details on the company's strategies and financial health.
The presentation at ESMO Congress 2026 is expected to provide valuable insights into the potential of givastomig as a treatment option for patients with metastatic gastroesophageal adenocarcinoma. The findings will be presented in the Poster Area, Hall 5, and will contribute to the ongoing efforts to improve treatment outcomes for this challenging condition.
