United Parks & Resorts Promotes Kyle Miller to President

ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 22, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- United Parks & Resorts Inc., a leading theme park and entertainment company, has announced significant leadership changes effective September 22, 2026. Kyle Miller, a veteran of the company with over three decades of experience, has been promoted to the role of President. In his new position, Miller will work closely with Chief Executive Officer Marc Swanson and the executive leadership team to advance the company's growth strategy, operational priorities, and commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.

Miller's promotion follows his successful tenure as Chief Parks Operations Officer, where he oversaw operations across the company's park portfolio. Prior to this role, Miller served as Park President of SeaWorld Orlando, Discovery Cove, and Aquatica Orlando, where he led some of the company's most successful operational and guest experience initiatives. His career with the company began in 1995 when he joined Busch Entertainment Corporation, and he has since held various leadership positions in operations, culinary, merchandise, and park management.

Scott Maupin, who previously served as Co-Chief Parks Operating Officer, will now assume the role of Chief Parks Operating Officer. Maupin joined United Parks & Resorts in May 2026 and brings over 30 years of experience in theme park, resort, and hospitality operations. Prior to joining the company, he served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Merlin Entertainments, where he led its North American portfolio of 45 entertainment destinations. Earlier in his career, Maupin held senior leadership roles with Great Wolf Resorts and Six Flags.

Christopher Finazzo, who served as Chief Commercial Officer, has departed the company to pursue new opportunities. United Parks & Resorts thanks Finazzo for his contributions during his tenure and wishes him well in his next chapter.
