Unigen Launches Cheetah Enterprise SSD Series for AI and Hyperscale Infrastructure

Unigen Corporation, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of enterprise and industrial electronics, has introduced the Cheetah Enterprise SSD Series, designed to enhance the performance of AI and hyperscale infrastructure. The new product line, launched on September 10, 2026, comprises two complementary product families: the Cheetah Storage Class Memory (SCM) SSD and the Cheetah High Capacity (HC) SSD.

The Cheetah SCM SSD is an ultra-low-latency storage solution designed to accelerate demanding AI and data center workloads. This PCIe Gen5 x4 NVMe 2.0 SSD, which supports up to 16 NAND channels and a DDR5 interface, offers exceptional endurance with ratings of up to 60 DWPD for random workloads and 80 DWPD for sequential workloads. Its high-performance capabilities make it ideal for AI and data center environments, providing ultra-low latency and high random IOPS.

The Cheetah HC SSD, on the other hand, is an ultra-high-capacity NVMe SSD optimized for AI datasets and large-scale storage. With capacities up to 122 TB in U.2 and E1.L form factors, it supports high throughput, low latency, and enterprise-grade reliability. Both the SCM and HC SSDs offer a flexible storage platform through their availability in various form factors, including U.2, E1.L, E1.S, and E3.S.

Together, the Cheetah SCM and Cheetah HC SSDs form a two-tier storage hierarchy that optimizes throughput and manages overall storage costs. The SCM is designed to handle active datasets, write acceleration, caching, and temporary scratch space, while the HC SSD stores foundation models, training datasets, embedding databases, and long-term archives. This dual-tier approach is particularly suited for AI training clusters, large language models, GPU inference farms, hyperscale cloud storage, high-performance computing, enterprise storage arrays, vector databases, and disaggregated storage architectures.
