UNICO National Hosts INSIEME High School Fall Congress on September 23

FAIRFIELD, N.J., September 21, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- UNICO National, the largest Italian American service organization in the United States, is set to host the INSIEME High School Fall Congress on September 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the County College of Morris in Randolph, New Jersey. This event marks a significant milestone in UNICO National's INSIEME Program, an innovative initiative aimed at strengthening Italian language, culture, service, and leadership development in U.S. high schools.
The INSIEME High School Fall Congress will bring together a diverse group of stakeholders, including school administrators, Italian language educators, students, Italian diplomatic representatives, and leaders from the Italian American community. The primary goal of the Congress is to advance Italian language education and cultural engagement throughout the United States. The event is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including school administrators, Italian language educators, students, UNICO National leadership, Italian Embassy and Consular representatives, Calandra Institute scholars, and prominent members of the Italian American community.

The Fall Congress will introduce administrators to grant opportunities that support Italian language programs, provide information on professional development resources for educators, present the INSIEME program framework and its alignment with school curricula, and establish a regional network of schools committed to expanding Italian studies. The program will also highlight opportunities for student leadership development, mentorship, community service, and engagement with accomplished Italian American professionals.
The INSIEME Program provides schools and students access to grant funding opportunities, educator professional development, leadership programs, mentorship, institutional partnerships, and a nationwide network of support. The initiative seeks to preserve and promote Italian language and culture while preparing students to become future leaders within their communities and professions.
