The event, scheduled from September 22 to 24, 2026, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., aims to showcase innovative housing solutions.

At this year’s showcase, UMH will present two groundbreaking manufactured homes. This home exemplifies the evolution of modern manufactured housing through its innovative design.

The second home, a two-bedroom, two-bath off-frame multi-section home, is built by Cavco Industries. This model highlights advancements in manufactured housing by removing the traditional chassis, showcasing the potential for more flexible and efficient construction methods.

Samuel A. Landy, President and CEO of UMH Properties, expressed pride in the company’s participation.

UMH Properties, founded in 1968, currently owns and operates 145 manufactured home communities, containing approximately 27,100 developed homesites, with 11,200 rental homes and over 1,000 self-storage units. The company’s communities are spread across New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, and Georgia. UMH also has an ownership interest in two communities in Florida and one in Pennsylvania, operating them through joint ventures with Nuveen Real Estate.

The showcase is a significant platform for UMH to highlight its commitment to innovative housing solutions and to engage with key stakeholders, including policymakers and the public.
