Two Weill Cornell Medicine pediatricians, Dr. Paul W. Chung and Dr. Jane E. Rosini, have become the first in their institution to offer families an enhanced support system through the Pediatric Concierge Medicine program provided by Concierge Choice Physicians (CCP). This move marks a significant shift in how pediatric care is delivered, emphasizing greater connectivity and convenience for families.
Dr. Chung, based at Weill Cornell Medicine Primary Care at Brooklyn Heights, and Dr. Rosini, located at Weill Cornell Medicine Primary Care on Broadway in New York City, are now part of a growing group of 21 Weill Cornell Medicine physicians who offer specialized membership programs through CCP. The program is designed to provide member families with an array of services, including an annual consultative appointment, direct after-hours physician support, care coordination and advocacy with other healthcare providers, and an annual behavioral consultation with a Weill Cornell child psychologist.
Families choosing to participate in the Pediatric Concierge Medicine program will pay an annual membership fee. Those who opt out will continue to receive traditional care from Dr. Chung and Dr. Rosini. Both physicians noted the positive feedback they've received from their patients, particularly those with new babies or busy working parents.
"We heard from many parents in our practice that they wanted more connectivity and support, especially with new babies," said Dr. Chung. "This program is a great way for us to meet those needs while continuing to serve all the families in our panel."
Dr. Rosini echoed her colleague's sentiments, emphasizing the program's benefits for working families. "We work with many busy professionals who need the convenience this program provides. It has been a wonderful option for our practice."
The Pediatric Concierge Medicine program is part of CCP's broader mission to offer flexible and innovative healthcare options. Headquartered in Rockville Centre, New York, CCP serves thousands of physicians across 35 states and provides both hybrid and full-service concierge medical services. The program's services include direct access to physicians, care coordination, and support for families, aiming to streamline the healthcare experience.
