STOCKHOLM, Sept. 7, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Truecaller, a leading global platform for safe and trusted communication, has introduced a new feature called Post-Call Actions. This innovation aims to streamline interactions between businesses and consumers by allowing consumers to complete important tasks immediately after a call ends.

The first rollout of Post-Call Actions targets high-intent last-mile delivery companies. Consumers can now reschedule deliveries, confirm availability, share precise locations, or authorize safe drop-offs directly within Truecaller, without the need to download an app or hunt for links. This feature is expected to enhance the customer experience by eliminating the friction often associated with missed calls or transfers to multiple agents.

For banking, financial services, and insurance sectors, Post-Call Actions offer a layer of security. Only after a verified business call, customers can perform critical actions such as paying dues, requesting callbacks, completing pending KYC steps, or confirming transactions. This ensures that customers can act with confidence, reducing the risk of impersonation scams, which are on the rise.

Businesses benefit from Post-Call Actions by improving call resolution. Traditionally, call performance is measured by call pick-up rates. With Post-Call Actions, businesses can now gauge call success based on whether the task was completed during the same trusted interaction. This new metric offers a more comprehensive view of call effectiveness, helping companies optimize their customer service processes.

Priyam Bose, Global Head of GTM for Business at Truecaller, explained, "A phone call has been the most human way for a business to communicate with customers. But it usually ends with homework for them. Post-Call Actions resolve this. The delivery gets rescheduled, the bill gets paid, the KYC gets done, all in the same trusted moment, on the same screen, irrespective of the calls getting picked up or unanswered."

The new feature is part of Truecaller's ongoing effort to enhance communication safety and reliability. With over 500 million active users, Truecaller is a natural part of daily communication and aims to protect against fraud and unwanted communication in digital economies.
