Trua Senior Living Locators, a company that assists seniors and their families in finding suitable living arrangements, has officially launched its services in South Fulton, Georgia. The business, led by local owner Fred Giahi, aims to simplify the often-challenging process of selecting appropriate senior living options.

Giahi's decision to enter the senior care services field was influenced by his family's experiences. His father was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease, and Giahi witnessed firsthand the difficulties his family faced during the pandemic, when many memory care communities were restricted to visitors.

Reflecting on these experiences, Giahi said, "Those experiences showed me how difficult this process can be for families, especially when they are already under stress. I wanted to help others navigate senior living decisions with greater support, clarity, and compassion."

Trua's approach combines personal guidance, clinical insight, proprietary technology, and community-vetting protocols to help families identify senior living opportunities that align with their loved ones' current and long-term needs. "To me, caring means listening with empathy and showing genuine concern for the needs of others," Giahi noted. "Every family deserves to feel heard, supported, and guided through what is often one of the most important decisions they will make."

Founded in 2019, Trua Senior Living Locators provides personalized support to families exploring senior living and care services. The company’s mission is to simplify the search process and help families make informed, confident decisions for their loved ones. As an owner-operator, Giahi is involved in every aspect of the South Fulton business, from developing relationships with local care professionals and community partners to personally guiding families through their options.

Although Giahi entered the industry with limited direct experience, he attributes his success to the training, mentorship, and ongoing support provided by Trua. "My goal is to build a strong foundation and establish Trua as a trusted resource throughout South Fulton," he said. "I want families to know they have someone local who will listen, take their needs seriously, and help them find the best possible living opportunity for their loved one."

Giahi has lived in the area for over 20 years and is a longtime educator and community volunteer. He is actively involved with the Decatur Senior Group, among other local organizations.
