Trove Launches Pack Battles for Friendly Collecting Rivalries

Trove, a collectibles app designed to reconnect people with the joy of collecting, has introduced a new multiplayer mode called Pack Battles. This innovative feature allows friends to challenge each other in a friendly competition, reliving the excitement of opening packs and revealing valuable cards.
Pack Battles transforms the traditional pack-opening experience into a head-to-head competition. Each participant opens a Trove pack containing a digitized version of a real, authenticated card held securely in the PSA Vault. The collector who pulls the more valuable card wins both. If the cards have equal value, each person keeps the card they pulled.
"You showed off your best cards, cheered on your friends, and made up games where bragging rights meant everything. That's the feeling we wanted to bring back with Pack Battles."
The new mode is now available in Trove's iOS app, with web access coming soon. Users can challenge friends directly or face a randomly matched opponent. They can also watch battles across the app and compete for leaderboard standings and TroveCash rewards. Rematches are always an option if a friend gets too comfortable celebrating.
Trove currently offers cards across major sports, Pokémon, and One Piece, with cards securely stored in its vault and available for physical delivery. The platform combines the excitement of digital pack opening with ownership of real, authenticated collectibles, offering curated inventory, transparent odds, provable fairness, collection analytics, and liquidity.
Pack Battles is the latest addition to Trove's suite of features, designed to make the collecting experience more engaging and social. By bringing back the friendly rivalry of opening packs with friends, Trove aims to enhance the overall experience for its users.
