Trident Resources Completes Geophysical Survey over Reindeer Gold Project

Vancouver, BC, Sept. 15, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Trident Resources Corp., a Canadian gold exploration company, has completed a significant geophysical survey over its Reindeer Gold Project in Saskatchewan's La Ronge Gold Belt. The survey, covering 6,600 line kilometers, aims to delineate lithologic boundaries and geologic structures that could host undiscovered gold deposits.
The Reindeer Gold Project, spanning 29,300 hectares, is situated along the Duck Lake Shear Zone, an important geologic structure that marks the boundary between the La Ronge and Kisseynew lithostructural domains. This boundary is known for hosting several past-producing mines, existing gold deposits, and numerous gold occurrences. The survey, conducted with 50-meter line spacing and 250-meter tie-lines, will provide high-resolution data to help identify potential mineralization zones.
In addition to the airborne geophysical survey, Trident Resources has initiated a drone magnetic survey at the Contact Lake Gold Property. This survey, covering an 8-kilometer square area, will complement existing surface, magnetic, and drill data to understand the controlling structures and locate near-term drill targets. The drone survey is part of a broader exploration program that includes soil sampling and drilling at Contact Lake and the adjacent Preview project.
At Contact Lake, the company has already completed over 2,500 soil samples in the area encompassed by the drone survey. The 2026 summer drill program at Contact Lake has surpassed 11,000 meters of the anticipated 20,000 meters. The drilling is focused on extending known high-grade mineralization at depth and along strike. The company is also conducting a comprehensive soil sampling program covering 9,000 samples at both Contact Lake and the adjacent Preview project, which hosts the Preview SW and Preview North deposits.
The Contact Lake Gold Project, covering approximately 22,790 hectares, includes the past-producing Contact Lake gold mine, which produced about 190,000 ounces of gold at an average head grade of 6.16 grams per tonne during active mining operations between 1994 and 1998. The project also hosts the Preview SW, Preview North, and North Lake orogenic gold deposits, all wholly-owned by Trident Resources.
Trident Resources' large land package of nearly 100,000 hectares within the La Ronge Gold Belt is strategically located to cover numerous mineral occurrences associated with the highly prospective boundary between the La Ronge and Kisseynew lithostructural domains. The company's exploration strategy focuses on advancing its assets through focused drilling, prospecting, surface sampling, and geophysical surveys to unlock the full potential of the district.
