KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, Sept. 16, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Treasure Global Inc, a technology company based in Southeast Asia, has secured a significant partnership to deploy an AI-powered agricultural supply chain platform for the Malaysian government. The subsidiary, Tadaa Technology Sdn Bhd, will collaborate with E Agro Digital Sdn Bhd to develop the EzyTrace platform, which aims to enhance real-time visibility and operational control across Malaysia’s agricultural distribution network.
Under the partnership, Tadaa will leverage its artificial intelligence and data analytics capabilities, while E Agro Digital will contribute specialized agricultural technology expertise. The platform is designed to provide the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security with end-to-end supply chain visibility, enabling real-time tracking of agricultural stock from warehouse to distribution point. EzyTrace integrates GPS, IoT sensors, and AI-driven analytics to automate inventory reconciliation, reduce manual data entry errors, and offer decision support for agricultural logistics optimization.
Precision agriculture capabilities will also be integrated into the platform, providing Malaysian farmers with actionable insights on crop health, irrigation optimization, fertilizer application timing, and pest management. These capabilities are expected to improve resource allocation efficiency and contribute to Malaysia’s agricultural modernization strategy. According to industry research by Mordor Intelligence, precision agriculture technologies have demonstrated measurable improvements in crop yield efficiency while reducing chemical input costs.
Sam Teo, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Treasure Global, highlighted the significance of this partnership.
The partnership is anticipated to generate revenue for Tadaa, with recognition of the first engagement expected to commence in the fourth quarter of 2027. The project is expected to establish reference capability and position Tadaa to pursue additional government digitalization opportunities across Southeast Asia. Treasure Global believes that this initiative will strengthen its presence in public-sector AI and digital agriculture, supporting the company’s broader strategy of developing scalable technology-driven revenue opportunities.
Industry analysts project that the global AI in agriculture market will grow significantly over the next few years. According to Mordor Intelligence, the market is projected to expand from approximately $3.11 billion in 2026 to approximately $8.39 billion by 2031, with the Asia-Pacific region recording the fastest growth. This partnership is seen as a strategic move for Treasure Global to tap into the growing demand for AI-driven solutions in the agricultural sector.
With an addressable market of over $31 billion in regional logistics services and approximately $28.5 billion in food and agriculture logistics alone, combined with the anticipated expansion of APAC government AI investment from $40.88 billion in 2025 to an estimated $490 billion in 2035, this engagement is expected to position Tadaa to pursue additional government digitalization opportunities. Treasure Global aims to secure 2-3 additional government contracts within the next 12-24 months, leveraging the success of the EzyTrace platform.
The initiative comes amid rapid growth in the adoption of AI and precision technologies across the agriculture sector. According to Mordor Intelligence, the global AI in agriculture market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of approximately 22.0% from 2026 to 2031, with Asia-Pacific recording the fastest regional growth as governments invest in digital agriculture programs.
