TravelingWiki Launches LocateMoreFriends.com to Connect Special Needs Youth

TravelingWiki Foundation, a global organization dedicated to assisting special needs and disabled youth, has launched a new platform called LocateMoreFriends.com. This initiative aims to connect young individuals with similar backgrounds to share in community sports and other activities.

The new website provides city-specific resources to help special needs and disabled youth find other youth to engage in pickup sports and other experiences. Example locations include community centers, YMCAs, and Jewish Community Centers (JCCs) across major metropolitan areas such as New York City, Miami, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

This launch follows the recent expansion of TravelingWiki and SportsFanWiki to the largest airports and sports venues, now covering over 462 total airports and venues, including all NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, and FBS venues. The organization has also expanded its services to 320 sports venues in 15 languages, including Spanish, French, Japanese, Mandarin, and English. This expansion includes venues in cities such as Buenos Aires, Bogota, Caracas, Lima, Rio de Janeiro, Santiago, Sao Paolo, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Rome, Lisbon, Madrid, and Moscow, as well as in Dubai, Istanbul, London, Paris, and Tel Aviv.

TravelingWiki Foundation has also launched BODWiki.com, which leverages artificial intelligence to deliver fitness resources to the special needs and disability communities. The launch coincides with the CEO of TravelingWiki Foundation, Jonathan Sutter, sharing his personal journey from being raised in common housing at 14 years old and weighing 200 pounds to achieving a healthier lifestyle and fitness milestones.

Additionally, the organization has launched OnCampusWiki.com, which documents the disability and special needs resources at the top-ranked US universities. The first phase of this initiative covers 32 universities, including Boston College, Brown University, CalTech, Carnegie Mellon University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Duke University, Emory University, Georgetown University, and many others.

TravelingWiki Foundation is also planning several events in the coming months, including a Hawaii Bowl / Hawaii Festive Season 2026 Sports Meet Up, a SportsFanWiki / TravelingWiki CES 2027 Sports Card Meet Up, and two events during NFL Championship Week. These events are designed to bring together sports fans and enthusiasts to celebrate and discuss their shared interests.

The rapid growth of TravelingWiki Foundation is also reflected in its expansion of TravelingWiki.com, which provides a comprehensive database of free airport disability resource information in 15 of the most spoken languages globally. The organization has also extended its services to all Canadian provinces, serving the top 27 commercial service airports in Canada, with text, voice, and web support available in 15 languages.

TravelingWiki.com documents disability resources for all FAA Large and Medium Sized hub airports in 15 languages, including English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Twi, Dutch, German, and Russian. The organization continues to expand its reach and services to better serve the needs of the special needs and disability communities.
