PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Traction Rec, a provider of community recreation solutions, has introduced a new product called Facility Booking at the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) Annual Conference. The product is part of the company's Fresh platform, which aims to streamline the management of community recreation facilities.
Facility Booking addresses the challenges faced by parks and recreation departments in managing bookings, particularly the time-consuming process of setting up recurring bookings and resolving conflicts. According to Bill De Vries, Director of Product at Traction Rec, the tool is designed to help teams manage facilities more efficiently, ensuring that bookings are made with minimal effort and that conflicts are resolved automatically.
The new product allows staff to set up large, recurring bookings by describing them in plain language. The assistant then builds each session and prepares the contract. When a season shifts or a space closes, bookings can be amended or moved without starting over. Facility Booking also works to avoid conflicts, suggesting comparable openings when a time is taken and recommending adjustments that staff can accept in a click.
Attendees can see Facility Booking in action at NRPA booth #2218, with live demonstrations throughout the exhibit hall days. The product follows the launch of Community Self Serve, the first product on the Fresh platform, which was introduced at the YMCA General Assembly earlier this month.
Traction Rec's Fresh platform is part of the company's growing work with parks and recreation agencies, building on its experience serving YMCAs, JCCs, and Boys & Girls Clubs. The company pairs an intuitive and modern user experience with a proven CRM foundation, Salesforce, to help community organizations deepen the experiences of constituents and create greater community impact.
