OTTAWA, Ontario, Sept. 29, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- The Canada Games Council (CGC) has welcomed Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) as the National Mobility Partner of the Canada Games through 2031. TCI’s commitment extends through the Quebec City 2027 Canada Winter Games, the Moncton - Saint John 2029 Canada Summer Games, and the 2031 Canada Winter Games. The Canada Games, which bring together able-bodied athletes and athletes with physical and intellectual disabilities, showcase the best in Canadian sport and spirit, featuring more than 30 different sports.

Toyota Canada is providing a fleet of more than 50 vehicles to support both operational and Games-time fleet transportation needs. With a focus on zero-emission vehicles, this partnership will play a central role in the delivery of sustainable event operations, aligning with the Games’ objective of reducing its environmental impact. TCI is familiar with the positive impact of the Canada Games, having been the Electrified Fleet Partner at the St. John’s 2025 Games.

The impact of this multi-Games partnership will be felt first in Quebec City, where the 2027 Canada Winter Games will be held from February 27 to March 14.

The Canada Games spark greatness in the next generation of athletes and leaders and create enduring legacies that transform communities from coast to coast to coast. Each edition of the Canada Games features two weeks of competition, between 16 - 20 sports, up to 4,600 summer and up to 3,500 winter participants (athletes, coaches and managers), and over 5,000 volunteers. Toyota Canada’s partnership with the Canada Games Council underscores its commitment to sustainability and its role in supporting the country’s sporting landscape.

The Canada Games Council, a private, non-profit organization, provides the continuity, leadership, and support to Host Societies in key areas such as sport technical, organizational planning, ceremonies and protocol, as well as marketing and sponsorship. Toyota Canada’s involvement in the Canada Games will further strengthen the Council’s efforts to develop the next generation of athletes and leaders, in addition to their lasting legacy of sport facilities, community pride, and national unity.
