SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 20, 2026 /CourierPR/ -- Tools for Humanity, a technology company focused on human-centric solutions in the age of artificial intelligence, has joined the Zoom Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Exchange Program. This move will allow businesses to access World ID for Zoom, a tool designed to verify the real human presence in video communications, combating the growing threat of deepfakes.

The integration of World ID for Zoom into the Zoom Marketplace is expected to significantly enhance trust in business interactions. According to Deloitte, AI-enabled fraud losses in the U.S. are projected to rise from $12.3 billion in 2023 to $40 billion by 2027. This underscores the need for robust verification tools to ensure that participants in video conferences are genuine individuals.

Ajay Patel, Head of World ID and Chief Revenue Officer at Tools for Humanity, emphasized the importance of human verification tools in the current technological landscape.

Through the Zoom ISV Exchange Program, businesses can now purchase World ID for Zoom directly from the platform. This tool utilizes World's Proof of Human technology and Zoom's Realtime Media Streams (RTMS) to confirm the identity of participants. The verification process involves a three-way match: the cryptographically signed image taken when the participant originally verified at an Orb, a real-time selfie taken on the participant's device, and the live video frame that other participants see on screen. When all three match, the system confirms the presence of a real, verified human and displays a Human Badge on the participant's video tile.

Brendan Ittelson, chief ecosystem officer at Zoom, highlighted the importance of trust in business communications.

The World ID for Zoom integration runs on AWS and was previewed at "Lift Off," with global investment manager VanEck Funds participating in the limited beta program. This announcement reflects Tools for Humanity's growing role across various platforms, including consumer, enterprise, and agentic applications. In April, the company announced new partnerships and integrations with Zoom, Docusign, Okta, Vercel, and Tinder, as well as new tools for AI agents.

Tools for Humanity, headquartered in San Francisco, California, and Munich, Germany, was founded by Sam Altman and Alex Blania. The company's mission is to build tools for humans in the age of AI, and its products include the World Money app and World ID app.
