TMC Group, a Canadian manufacturer of enriched stable isotopes, has announced significant progress in expanding its production capacity, marking an early milestone ahead of the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM) 2026 Annual Congress in Vienna.

Earlier this year, TMC Group announced plans to increase production capacity by 50 percent. Today, the company is commissioning new production lines that are already producing material, underscoring its commitment to meeting the growing demand for medical radioisotopes.

Brian Webster, founder and CEO of TMC Group, highlighted the company's focus on supplying material today and using real demand to guide future expansion.

Over the past 12 months, TMC Group has supplied more than 1.5 kilograms of Ytterbium-176, a critical precursor material used in the production of medical radioisotopes. The company also manufactures Gallium-69 and Gadolinium-160, all of which are critical for the development of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. Supply commitments are now extending into 2027 and beyond, ensuring a stable and secure source of supply for its customers.

Operating from a 30,000-plus-square-foot production facility in North Vancouver, British Columbia, TMC Group has manufactured and shipped more than 15 kilograms of enriched stable isotopes worldwide since 2004. The company will be exhibiting at the EANM 2026 Annual Congress in Hall X2, Booth 272, where it will connect with researchers, radiopharmaceutical developers, and industry partners looking to secure reliable isotope supply for the next generation of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals.

In addition to manufacturing high-purity Ytterbium-176, TMC Group has developed manufacturing processes for four additional elements over the first half of 2026, with plans to add more over the next 12 months. The company's products have demonstrated isotopic purity reaching up to 99.9%, making them critical for medical applications where product purity is essential.

TMC Group will be present at the EANM 2026 Annual Congress to discuss current production capabilities and future supply requirements, ensuring that its customers have the necessary information to plan their long-term procurement strategies.
