Thor Explorations Reports Encouraging Results from Marahui Gold Project Drilling

Thor Explorations, a mineral exploration company based in Côte d'Ivoire, has announced encouraging results from its maiden exploration drilling at the Marahui Gold Project. The project, which covers 250 square kilometers in northeastern Côte d'Ivoire, has shown high-grade mineralization, potentially opening up a new exploration opportunity for the company.

The drilling program, which has tested approximately 30% of the overall geological trend, has identified multiple parallel gold-bearing veins within a shear corridor extending over more than 4 kilometers. The company has reported significant intersections, including 6 meters at 6.20 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from 74 meters in drillhole MRRC26-115, and 6 meters at 5.60 g/t gold from 129 meters in drillhole MRRC26-008.

The Marahui Project is part of Thor Explorations' portfolio of early-stage exploration licenses in Côte d'Ivoire, which also includes the 100% owned Guitry Gold Exploration Project and an option to earn up to an 80% interest in the Boundiali Exploration Permit, located in north-west Côte d'Ivoire.

The project is underlain by an arcuate, north-westerly trending sequence of Birimian schistose volcano-sedimentary rocks, surrounded by intrusive granites. Gold mineralization is controlled by a NW-SE shear zone in volcano-sedimentary schists and by extensional WNW-ESE quartz veins in granite. Previous soil geochemical sampling and geological mapping around artisanal workings identified two parallel anomalous structures, with the larger anomaly extending for approximately 4 kilometers and being approximately 200 meters wide.

Thor Explorations has completed 18,439 meters of its budgeted 25,000 meters reverse circulation (RC) drilling program as part of its ongoing exploration program. The program is focused on a north-westerly-trending line of shallow artisanal workings, with significant intersections including 6 meters at 6.20 g/t gold from 74 meters in MRRC26-115, 6 meters at 5.60 g/t gold from 129 meters in MRRC26-008, and 8 meters at 3.40 g/t gold from 50 meters in MRRC26-143.

"These intervals are downhole lengths," explained Alfred Gillman, a qualified person who has reviewed and approves the content of this news release. "With approximately 30% of the overall geological trend tested by drilling, considerable scope remains for further exploration. Additional discrete geochemical anomalies have already been identified and are scheduled for drill testing in the coming months, providing a clear pipeline of follow-up targets."

Thor Explorations, which trades on AIM and the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "THX," continues to explore the potential of the Marahui Project. The company's next phase of work will involve testing additional targets and building a clear understanding of the project's scale and potential.
