Theory Wellness, an employee-owned cannabis company, is set to open its first Minnesota dispensary on September 15, 2026, in St. Paul. The new location, situated at 1915 Suburban Avenue, will offer a unique retail experience, allowing customers to witness the cultivation process from young plants to mature buds.

The St. Paul Theory Wellness dispensary will feature two large viewing windows, providing guests with a direct look into the company’s indoor cultivation facility. This transparency aims to create a deeper connection between the product and the consumer, showcasing the care and attention to detail that goes into growing high-quality cannabis.

According to Brandon Pollock, CEO of Theory Wellness, the new dispensary is a significant step for the company in Minnesota. "St. Paul is an exciting next step for Theory, and we wanted this store to feel true to who we are," Pollock said. "We care deeply about the quality of the product we grow, the experience we create for guests, and the communities we become part of. This location brings all of that together in a way that feels honest, welcoming, and uniquely Theory."

The new dispensary will also offer on-site production, ensuring that customers have access to the freshest flower, pre-rolls, vapes, and edibles. Theory Wellness will host a grand opening event, featuring coffee from Backstory Coffee Roasters, in-store promotions, and branded gift bags for the first 100 customers.

In addition to its own products, Theory Wellness will curate a selection of locally grown and produced third-party products. The company’s in-house team will be trained to assist customers, whether they are experienced cannabis consumers or visiting a dispensary for the first time. Customers will have the flexibility to pre-order online for a streamlined in-store pick-up or to speak with Theory team members to build an in-store order.

Theory Wellness, with over ten years of experience in the cannabis industry, operates 14 dispensaries across six states: Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont, New Jersey, Ohio, and Minnesota. The company is vertically integrated in Massachusetts, Maine, Minnesota, and Vermont, maintaining control over cultivation, production, and retail to support quality at every stage.

The new St. Paul dispensary will be open seven days a week, operating from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday and from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sundays. Customers must be 21 or older with a valid government-issued ID to enter and purchase cannabis products.
